Pressure management has remained a water industry hot topic and network models have enabled the design of new pressure management schemes and optimisation of existing ones to be much easier and more accurate. HydroCo have recently developed a new Average Zone Night Pressure (AZNP) analysis tool that assists in the planning of critical locations for monitoring pressure. Developed by Andy Franklin, HydroCo's technical director, the new tool imports the modelled network and hydraulics and automatically identifies the AZNP location and critical point for logging, within each DMA. |
